1st September to 1st November: 10am – 9pm (last entry 8:30pm).
Please Note: Last exit from The Top Entrance, known as the Old Village Entrance, is 15 minutes before the Chine closes. After this time, there is no access out of Shanklin Chine via the Top Entrance. The exit is via the Bottom Entrance, known as Esplanade/Accessibility/Family Entrance.
We may close on days when the weather is bad for health and safety reasons. This will be communicated on our Facebook page. For the latest updates, please call the Booking Office on 01983 866432.

2026 Season Passes are valid from 26th March – 1st November (with entry to all events during this period included, unless specifically advertised otherwise).

Prices include entry to the Chine, an attraction map, musical performances as per the events calendar, events unless stated, Halloween Event and the Chine illuminations starting from the reopening of the season.

As a business please note that we operate a cashless site.
Upon arrival please be aware that with all tickets (including re-entries) you will still be required to queue for entry. This may take longer during the busier peak times, our staff work as quickly as possible. We ask that visitors be patient and courteous, allow space and be aware of others who may be entering or leaving the Chine, especially at the Old Village Box (top) entrance.
For Health and Safety reasons ALL persons entering Shanklin Chine must be listed on the entry ticket, this includes FREE INFANTS.

Island residents
Proof of residency (e.g. driving licence) is required upon arrival at the ticket office. Please note this offer is only valid for those who live at the address (children included). This offer is for 7 day return tickets.
NHS & Blue Light Card Holders
An ID card/blue light card is required upon arrival at the ticket office.
PLEASE NOTE; only one discount can be applied at one time and not multiples (for example; a resident working for the NHS will only receive 10% discount)
To prevent delays, please mention that you are eligible for a Discount at the start of the sale.
